Job Description

About the team:

The accounting team in Duncan, South Carolina supports our CY - Chassis Systems Division. They work to ensure all accounting functions and business operations are handled efficiently and effectively.

 

What you can look forward to as Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Coordinate AR/AP Activities for corporate entity.        
  • Setup and monitor Internal Orders.    
  • Provide guidance to various internal customers to improve reporting processes, data flow, and data analysis with the intent of providing actionable information.
  • Develop processes and strategies by working with cross-functional teams; manage process initiatives to ensure business requirements are incorporated and objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare journal entries as needed for closing.
  • Prepare monthly corporate allocation reports.
  • Assist the Plant Controller with the annual business plan and forecasting tools.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for review by the Controller and submission to corporate office.
  • Serve as backup in absence of the Accounting Manager.
  • Assist Plant Controller and Regional Controller with other special projects and accounting duties.    
  • Perform other Accounting Duties as required.    
  • Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives. 

 

Your profile as Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years related experience
  • SAP Experience.                     
  • Excellent spreadsheet and PC skills mandatory.
  • Experience with multi-currency international business.
