QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for skilled people that want to have an impact with their work to join the ZF Aftermarket Product Engineering team in our existing Dublin office. Over the next 12 months, this team has been working to bring a new customer-facing platform from concept to production through a deeply collaborative effort between our engineering, UX, Product and Data members. The team is leveraging the company's existing knowledge of both the industry and technologies to create a digital product that will optimize fleets management, maintenance and provide predictability and value to its customers. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on shaping both the new engineering organization and product, while having the security of being part of one of the world's largest automotive suppliers. 
 

About the QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d):

As a QA Automation Engineer, you are part of a small highly skilled, innovative, and motivated development team in the construction and utilization of new digital solutions for fleets developed using cutting-edge technologies in responsive web applications, together with cloud computing.  You will be working closely with the product team, backend and frontend developers, to build responsive data-centric web applications. This position requires a self-motivated professional with hands-on technical QA testing and experience in the development of automated tests.  

Your tasks:

• Ensure the quality of our customer-facing products. 

• Creation of automated test suites for responsive web applications. 

• Review test coverage of developer-driven automation testing. 

• Tracking and escalation of issues. 

• Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to ensure features meet the expected quality, both in definition and delivery. 

• Perform manual testing when required. 

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience working in QA and test automation. 

• Knowledge of automation test development. 

• In-depth Knowledge of JIRA or similar tools.  

• Experience in testing throughout the SDLC and comfortable with the principles of BDD/TDD. 

• Familiar with cloud concepts and technologies. 

• Comfortable working with databases and querying data. 

• Excellent communication skills. 

• Working knowledge of programming in JavaScript.

• Working knowledge of AWS is a plus. 

• Working knowledge of Playwright is a plus.
