OBJECTIVE

ZF’s Aftermarket Digital Services enable aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically improve the efficiency, the sustainability and the safety of their operations, while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management and end-user software platform.

As Product Owner Commercial Vehicle Multi-Brands diagnostics you will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and success criteria for the ZF CV multibrand diagnostics in support of CV ZF parts, systems & services business. You will closely work with development team to ensure the deliverables of product based on specs, customer needs, achieving QCD targets. You will drive the partnership with engineering team with regards priorities, activities, and resource allocation. You will also support the acquisition of deals (RFQ/RFI) together with category management or sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent the product backlog, and act as the interface between the development team and the stakeholders, translating stakeholder requirements into product specifications. 
• Maintains a deep understanding of the domain and the product. Contributes to and leads documentation efforts for the team. Collects and organizes feedback into actionable insights for continuous improvements.
• Owns the quality, and the P&L of the scope of the team, and plans related activities, functional or non-functional, together with the engineering management partners. Validates the outcome of the development iterations.
• Provide customer and business context to the development team, act as the voices of customer/business in the project team.
• Coordinate the product validation and prototype activities in cooperation with suppliers, testing center, field test.
• Provide onsite support of product during the product launch.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related Technical background
• Min. 5 years of experience as product owner in agile software product development organizations, ideally in the automotive industry
• In-depth understanding of E/E vehicle architecture and related vehicle diagnostics standards and requirements
• Passionate about end-user software technology, with an understanding of cloud hosting technologies, Databases and Services development
• Ability to go deep with engineering when required but understand that your real value is your business acumen, strategic thinking, and precisely informed perspectives; you never lose sight of what your customers need.
