To strengthen and expand our platform and cargo teams, we are looking for a passionate Product Designer for ZF’s SCALAR product suite. The position can be filled remote from one of the following countries: Ireland, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands.

Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for researching, designing, testing, and iterating on core functionality across the SCALAR platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, from product managers, engineers, and architects to marketing and sales teams, to ensure that the products you design are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meet the needs of the end user.

As a Product Designer, you will be expected to possess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex user needs into elegant and intuitive product designs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to research and identify user pain points and create solutions that are not only innovative but also technically feasible.

What you can look forward to as Product Designer (m/f/d) SCALAR:

• Conducting user research to identify pain points and user needs together with your cross-functional team
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and scalable
• Teaming up with peer designers to ensure consistency across the platform and the best quality for the users
• Conducting usability testing to validate designs and gather feedback from users
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to continue empowering users

Your profile as Product Designer (m/f/d) SCALAR:

• 3+ years of experience in product design with a background in UI design beneficial
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers & engineers
• Proven team player with an international mindset. Highly self-motivated and self-managed individual, not afraid to do the heavy lifting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (in English)
• Experience designing for enterprise software or B2B products is a plus
