ZF’s Commercial Vehicle System Division, the largest global vehicle technology provider for commercial vehicles, build Digital Services enabling our customers to increase the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a portfolio of IoT devices, that access rich and unique proprietary vehicle data, which communicate with a modern cloud based IoT, data management, and end-user software platform.

To strengthen and expand the Dublin team, we are looking for a:

Mid-Level Full-stack Engineer (m/f/d) at ZF in Dublin

You will be part of an agile, highly skilled, innovative, and motivated development team working in an agile environment to quickly identify areas of the after market industry that can be enhanced by digital solutions. You will work closely with the product team using cutting-edge technologies in a cloud environment to build highly scalable, cost-efficient services.
 
We’re starting a brand-new project, and we’re looking for an experienced engineer. All the roles on this team are full-stack, which means we expect people to have one strong area of expertise, but be interested and willing to work in others as well. You will be using React, Material-UI, and Vite for the UI, however the expectation is for you to contribute new technologies that suit. The backend stack is Node.js, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway. You will be creating robust, scalable and reusable microservices & micro frontends.

 
Your responsibilities:

• Work with the Product team to design and build products from proof of concept to production for ZF’s product catalogue
• Continuous improvement in developing, maintaining & enhancing both backend and client side applications
• Design and develop robust, high-quality sustainable code
• Explore and adapt to new technologies as required
• Engage with Software Development methodologies such as Scrum/ Kanban to collaborate, deliver and report during the sprint

 
Your profile:

• 2+ Years of software development, working in both frontend technologies
• Experience with ES6 / Typescript
• Knowledge of React techniques and patterns
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging (end-to-end testing experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of Node.js and/or Cloud architecture is a plus
