What you can look forward to as Project Engineer Logistics:
•    Functional lead of and collaboration in international cross-functional teams; •    Planning, coordination and implementation of JIS/JIT Logistics concepts for axle system plants worldwide;
•    Onside support during project and launch phase in close cooperation and alignment with our headquarter in Germany;
•    Implementation of customer requirements for JIS/JIT delivery;
•    Execution of Logistics calculations and feasibility studies;
•    Planning, coordination and implementation of supply chain concepts and integration of suppliers into the supply chain;
•    Planning, coordination and implementation of material flow, lineside and layout concepts for axle system plants in collaboration with plant and crossfunctional teams involved. (e.g. VisTable, AutoCad)
•    Monitoring and evaluation of logistic KPIs (e.g. PowerBI);
•    Initiate, Support and implement continuous improvement activities in the plants;
•    Lead and support "Digital Logistics" projects incl. rollouts in projects and plants worldwide.

 

Your profile as Project Engineer Logistics:
•    Master/Bachelor degree in industrial engineering and management or similar. With focus on Logistics / Supply Chain Management; •    3-5 years practical experience in the field of implementation of  logistics projects in the automotive industry;
•    Experience in the field of packaging planning and logistic calculations (MS Excel);
•    Experience in the field of design, implementation and optimization of supply chain concepts and processes;
•    Experience in the field of monitoring and displaying Logistics KPIs (e.g PowerBI);
•    Good knowledge in SAP (MM, PP, WM etc.) would be beneficial;
•    Good English & German language competency – both verbal and written (English is a must; German beneficial); 
•    Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally;
•    Profound project management and communication skills and ability to work in an international team;
•    Experience with matrix organization is beneficial.
