Plant Manager

Workplace can be either Debrecen or Kecskemét.
Role objective: Manage, drive and monitor daily operational performance of the two Hungarian green-field Just-in-Sequence plants located in Debrecen and Kecskemet, secure target cost and profitability of the designated business and ensure customer satisfaction, compliance and the alignment of local activities with guiding regional and product line business strategies. Lead and grow assigned people.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure positive P&L performance through monthly analysis, reporting and staff involvement and ensure the target achievement for the two Just-in-Sequence plants
- Implement an efficient structure and processes to meet customer expectations & company targets and review progression & attainment with subordinates
- Develop, coordinate and execute the short- & long-term Strategic and Business Plan including resource planning, implementation and monitoring and guarantee that appropriate corrective actions are taken for any non-conformances
- Monitor, analyze and report on the organization’s performance and KPIs to senior management
- Build and maintain customer relationships with Key Account Clients
- Lead, guide, develop and support the plant management team while creating an environment of cooperation, integrity and mutual trust
- Establish and maintain a positive, safe and team-oriented work environment through leadership, performance feedback and coaching
- Ensure the implementation of best practice production standards & processes within the plant
- Represent the two plants on divisional and group level and serve as member of management committees for special projects
- Promote and drive an environment of continuous improvement by actively driving initiatives on ZF PS, business-relevant projects & 5S+1
- Ensure the overall compliance with company policies, directives & guidelines, TS16949 & ISO 14001 and the local legal environment (Federal and State laws and regulations)
- Create and maintain positive local labor relations
Profile:
- High education degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar
- Min. 10 years of experience in management positions
- Proven Automotive experience, knowledge of global customer requirements and needs
- Good operational knowledge and experience of Just-in-Sequence operations, logistics and business financials
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Superb leadership matrix skills and willingness to collaborate
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Fluent English
