About the Team: 
We are searching for a Logistics manager who, together with our international cross functional team, will build up and develop the logistics team, -concepts and -processes of our new Greenfield JIS- axle assembly plant in Debrecen (HU).
After SOP you as logistics manager will lead a department being responsible 
for the entire JIS-Supply Chain Management (Inbound-, Warehousing-, Intra- and JIS-Outbound- Logistics).

What you can look forward to as Logistics Manager:
•    Develop, implement, manage and enhance logistics concepts as well as processes and optimize logistics performance.
•    Be first contact to the customer on logistics topics for local customer inquiries and coordinate with the customer on delivery schedules and transportation of products to customer
•    Review customer production plans and liaise cross functionally to establish an equal level of information for all involved parties
•    Manage the interfaces between / to supply base, material planners and engineering change to order
•    Detect root cause of eventual supplier shortages, initiate needed escalations and report lessons learnt to management team
•    Monitor performance, develop plans to improve the delivery and supply performance as well as all plant logistics processes and implement measures for improvement
•    Develop and implement an overall logistics concept to support production requirements with regards to equipment, staff, and space requirements as well as to promote minimum logistic cost, minimum inventory level / high inventory turns and an optimal material flow
•    Develop and implement for your plant a container management system for returnables based on automotive industry standards and requirements
•    Implement, use and if needed drive forward standards, policies and processes defined by global-/regional cross function.
•    Develop an annual target plan and report results and development on a regular basis to plant- and regional management
•    Supervise, appraise and develop assigned personnel

Your profile as Logistics Manager:
•    Degree or Diploma in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or Business Engineering
•    Min. 5 years of professional experience as Manager in the field of logistics or supply chain management
•    Experience in the automotive industry (OEM or 1st tier) as well as in a JIT and JIS environment
•    Profound PC skills (MS Office) and solid knowledge as well as experience with SAP (MM, WM, …)
•    Proven communication skills with people of all professional levels
•    Proven leadership skills and an excellent process understanding as well as an integrative character
•    Good English & German language competency – both verbal and written (English is a must; German beneficial)
