What you can look forward to as Head of Shared Service Center Region Europe (m/f/d):

Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage the SSC team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the SSC, aligning with the overall organizational goals.
• Ensure the SSC operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Financial Operations:

• Oversee the end-to-end processes of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Master Data Management ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the SSC Considering improvement on processes taking over from current provider 
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for SSC-related inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of SSC services.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and insights to senior management.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.

Your Profile as Head of Shared Service Center Region Europe (m/f/d):

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a shared service center.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, IFRS and best practices in AP and AR .
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing automation solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Skills:

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Working proficiency in English (knowledge of German language nice to have)
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP, S4Hana is a plus.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
