Security Specialist - Vulnerability Management

The role is required within the Delivery and support VPC team to perform the activities in the area of vulnerability management .
The role will configure and manage  vulnerability scanning within the ZF IT infrastructure environment, analyze the results against the threat landscape.
The role will work with other  IT functions and system responsible owners to report outcomes and remediate vulnerabilities.

 

Your tasks:
•Performing vulnerability scanning of the IT infrastructure using the provided toolset.
•System maintenance and administration of the vulnerability tool
•Evaluate, rate and perform risk assessments on assets, prioritizing vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timeline(s)
•Interaction with multiple global teams (security architecture, penetration testing, application development, security officers, etc)
•Provide vulnerability analysis and produce reports for management and system responsible staff

 

 

Your profile:
•Bachelor or master degree in the field of computer science/ business informatics/ electrical engineering (2-4 years) required.
•Experience with vulnerability and patch assessment including scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS)
•Good command of Windows and Linux patching process (SCCM,WSUS, Suse Manager, RedHat Satellite)
•Experience on vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Nexpose etc)
•Excellent communication and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status
•Detail oriented, organized, methodical, follow up skills with an analytical thought process
