IT Expert Domain Architect

Tasks:

• Analysis and definition of the future ZF IT application landscape in the domain (platforms, layers, reference architectures, standards, tools, interfaces, etc.) by planning and designing cross-domain target structures including technical and economic evaluation, vulnerability analyzes and development of optimization options as well as implementation responsibility;
• Designing the transformation of the application landscape in the domain to cover megatrends such as digitization, cloud, digital ecosystems, Internet of Things (IoT), big data / analytics, mobility, SAP S4 / HANA through support in the corresponding IT programs and projects;
• Advising management on the decision of new software including platforms (assessing and presenting effects);
• Ensure the architectures for all domains of PDPQ including methods, interfaces to other architectural disciplines, procedures;
• Taking responsibility for the architecture of the domain incl. solution architecture;
• Representative of the architecture interest of the domain regarding Enterprise architecture – especially from the perspective of the domain in the field of cross-domain topics.

 
Requirements:

• Methodical knowledge as well as at least 6 years of professional experience in the above mentioned areas of responsibility;
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable discipline;
• Extensive practical experience in the design and development of large application landscapes;
• Experience in development, production and / or quality and their IT systems and platforms desirable;
• Knowledge and experience in the transformation of IT application landscapes ideally in several of the mentioned megatrends;
• Experience in setup of platforms and integration of IT applications into platforms and it landscapes;
• High Level of will for continuous improvement / life-long learning required;
• Very high level of communication and teamwork, personal initiative, organizational skills and a confident manner at all hierarchical levels (including management);
• Fluent in English;
• Willing to travel.
