The team manages supplier relationships, negotiates commercial agreements, drives cost optimization initiatives, and ensures a reliable, high-quality supply base that supports the company's global production and innovation goals

What you can look forward to as Trainee in Global Purchasing Department - Commodity Castings (m/f/d):

• Support sourcing and supplier management activities within the Casting Commodity area,
• Assist in analyzing supplier, market and cost development trends,
• Contribute to cross-functional projects involving Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and other business functions,
• Support preparation of reports, presentations and purchasing-related analyses,
• Assist with supplier meetings, business reviews and sourcing initiatives,
• Coordinate and track purchasing-related documentation and agreements,
• Support data-driven decision-making through information gathering and analysis.

Your profile as Trainee in Global Purchasing Department - Commodity Castings (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field;
• Analytical skills with attention to details;
• Practical use of MS-Office (Excel and PowerPoint); 
• Communication skills and openness to learn;
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2 for everyday business communication);
• Interest in the use of AI tools supporting business processes;
• Driving license (some travels are expected) and availability to work full-time.
