About the Team

Our Purchasing and Procurement teams play a key role in ensuring that the company has the right products, materials, and services available at the right quality, cost, and time. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, the teams support sourcing activities, supplier management, contract administration, market analysis, cost optimization, and strategic business projects. As part of a global organization, they collaborate with colleagues across functions such as Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Project Management to drive business success and continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as Trainee in Global Purchasing Department (m/f/d):

  • Learn how Purchasing and Procurement teams support a global business and work with suppliers around the world;
  • Support day-to-day activities and projects related to sourcing, supplier management, and process improvement;
  • Prepare and work with data, reports, and presentations to help the team make informed decisions;
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping to coordinate activities and maintain effective communication;
  • Collaborate with colleagues from different departments such as Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Project Management while developing your analytical, business, and communication skills.

 

Your Profile:

  • Final-year student, recent graduate, or professional interested in building a career in Purchasing or Procurement;
  • Academic background in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field;
  • Interest in working with data, solving problems, and finding practical solutions;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Eagerness to learn and good command of English (minimum B2 level).
