We are looking for engineers willing to join group developing embedded software architecture for a range of Safety Electronics products. We are part of the ZF company – a leading manufacturer of car parts and safety systems. We are working on the creation of advanced safety systems for passenger cars and trucks.
You will undertake embedded software architecture design and development activities for market leading solutions in a dynamic, multi-project, multi-disciplined environment. Be part of exciting architecture team responsible for technical directions that brings safety into cars of the future.

Your tasks:
• Developing embedded software architecture for range of safety electronics products;
• Ensure reusability and robustness of architecture design to confirm multiple applications use cases;
• Allocate and analyze the relevant software requirements, identify re-use areas;
• Ensure verification of software architecture designs against the requirements and defined safety goals;
• Support project development teams with consultancy about the usage of the best solutions;
• Communicate with ZF teams across the globe (e.g. USA, Germany, Japan, China, India).

Your profile:
• University degree in computer science, electronics engineering, robotics, or a comparable qualification;
• Experienced in software development for embedded systems;
• Proficient with C programming language;
• Ability of software system decomposition, structured approach to designing embedded software;
• Knowledge of UML language and UML modelling tools will be an advantage;
• Java script experience would be helpful;
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and/or Requirements Engineering will be an advantage;
• Analytical way of thinking, creative approach to problem solving, identifying synergies;
• Good written and spoken English ability.
