Senior Network Administrator LAN

Your tasks:

• Conception, implementation, and development of complex network environments according to the requirements of ZF Group
• Coordination, control and implementation of national and international infrastructure projects, sub-projects, and initiatives
• Design and definition of architectures and network standards for the ZF Group
• Coordination and controlling of external service providers and communication with internal customers / users, as well as cooperation with other areas of the IT organization
• Development of scripts for purpose of network automation
• Second level as well as third-level support worldwide for problems in the network environment (LAN, WIFI and remote access)
• Participation in on-call duty
• Working in international team

Profile:

• Completed degree in computer science / business informatics / electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with appropriate professional experience
• Very good network knowledge (LAN, WIFI, network security and network automation), especially with Juniper, Cisco and Aruba components
• Knowledge of network protocols and how everything works together (OSI model)
• Knowledge of scripting language such as Python or PowerShell
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Organizational skills, independent working methods, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a very pronounced customer orientation.
