Senior Financial Analyst / Cost Estimator (m/f/d)

About the Team

This global position will report to the Cost Estimating Finance Manager and will work very closely with business case teams across multiple global functions including Engineering, Purchasing, AME, Program Management, and Sales. The individual will have meaningful interaction with senior executives in purchasing, engineering, operations, sales, program management, and I/T.

What you can look forward to as Senior Financial Analyst / Cost Estimator (m/f/d):

• Running business case scenarios supporting multiple product lines including ADAS and HPC as needed;
• Ensuring the accuracy of the key inputs such as sales price, BOM cost, manufacturing solution, engineering estimate, etc.;
• Providing timely feedback to the Product Line Portfolio/Sales team;
• Reviewing key metrics versus the Operating/Strategic Plan;
• Running multiple what-if scenarios with Portfolio/Sales;
• Understanding the technical aspects of the product and how it compares to previous quotes with other customers;
• Update financial metrics as part of the development cycle;
  Performing regular ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Your Profile as Senior Financial Analyst / Cost Estimator (m/f/d):

• University degree in finance, economy, mathematics, computer science or similar;
• 5 years of experience in a similar area;
• Good analytical skills and understanding of financial metrics;
• Self-starter with attention to detail, able to organize activities and meet deadlines;
• Advanced Excel skills, problem-solving, and proven interpersonal and communication skills are key;
• Manufacturing environment experience, as well as knowledge of costing for different manufacturing processes a plus;
• Must be detail-oriented with an attitude for continuous improvement;
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
