Security Specialist - Vulnerability management

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform vulnerability scanning of the IT on-prem & Hybrid-Cloud infrastructure using the provided toolset.
  • Evaluate, rate and perform risk assessments on assets, prioritizing vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timeline(s).
  • Interaction with multiple global teams (security architecture, penetration testing, application development, security officers, etc).
  • Provide vulnerability analysis and produce reports for management and system responsible staff.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in the field of computer science/ business informatics/ electrical engineering
  • Experience with vulnerability and security assessment of Hybrid-Cloud environments
  • Good command of Linux architecture
  • Experience with containerized workloads and microservices applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status
  • Detail oriented, organized, methodical, follow up skills with an analytical thought process

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience on vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Nexpose etc)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, AWS, Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, CRI-O
  • Data analysis – operational know-how
  • Security architecture understanding
  • Background within managing projects and complex tasks.
