This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

The SAP IT Purchasing Developer designs, builds, and maintains custom technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem—primarily focused on Materials Management (MM) and Sourcing & Procurement. You will translate complex procurement requirements into technical deliverables like custom interfaces (IDocs/APIs), automated workflows, and high-performance reporting to ensure a seamless global supply chain.

What you can look forward to as an SAP IT Purchasing Developer (f/m/d):

• Build and enhance "Z-programs," user exits, and BAdIs specifically for purchasing documents, vendor evaluation, and inventory logic.
• Develop and monitor interfaces (IDoc, RFC, OData) to connect SAP with external vendor portals, banking systems, or third-party e-procurement tools like Ariba.
• Design and optimize multi-level approval workflows for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Create and maintain SAP Fiori apps to provide a modern, mobile-friendly experience for buyers and inventory managers.
• Analyze and optimize heavy procurement reports and background jobs to handle high transaction volumes without system downtime. 

Your profile as an SAP IT Purchasing Developer (f/m/d):

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SAP Development: 5+ years of hands-on ABAP experience, including ABAP Objects, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, and SAPScripts.
• Functional Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management) and P2P processes, including master data, RFQ, and invoice verification.
• S/4HANA Proficiency: Experience with S/4HANA extension patterns, CDS views, and AMDP for real-time analytics.
• Systems Integration: Expertise in SAP PI/PO or Cloud Integration (CPI) for managing end-to-end data flows with suppliers.
• SupplyOn knowledge required.
• Fluent in English.
