This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.
 
What you can look forward to as a Purchasing – Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d):
•    Lead the development and execution of the end to end purchasing strategy globally.
•    Develop strategies cross functionally to address business needs, including localisation and market / technology trends.
•    Drive cost optimizations and transparency to support P&L improvement.
•    Manage supplier relationships to improve collaboration, communication and performance, including organisation of events and sourcing conventions.
•    Support users as GPO (Global Process Owner), providing training, problem solving and process governance.
•    Lead improvement initiatives related to processes or systems, based on user feedback and data analytics.

 
Your profile as a Purchasing - Procurement Strategy Expert (f/m/d):
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
•    3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.).
•    Basic understanding of business processes and systems, preferably with exposure to ERP or workflow tools.
•    Good project management, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve user questions and operational issues.
•    Clear communication skills.
•    Background working with cross-functional teams or supporting multiple users/stakeholders.
•    Fluency in English.
