About the Team:

Join our ADAS Product Development team and be part of shaping the future of mobility. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge technologies powering next-generation vehicles, contributing to the design of advanced systems such as cameras, radars, and high-performance computing platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop innovative, real-world products used by leading automotive manufacturers worldwide. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment, where your ideas and technical expertise will have a direct impact on the performance, safety, and reliability of intelligent driving systems.

 

What you can look forward to as Product Development Engineer:

•    Participate in the development of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) products across various projects
•    Analyze customer requirements, CAD data and vehicle packaging constraints to ensure optimal integration
•    Apply appropriate design, development, and problem-solving methodologies, including defining and supporting component and system validation tests

•    Utilize engineering tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and CAE to develop robust and reliable design solutions. Interpret FEA results and drive design improvements to achieve “Right First Time” outcomes
•    Collaborate closely with Electronics, Hardware, Optical and Process Engineering teams to develop integrated ADAS systems
•    Support global manufacturing teams in maintaining and improving product manufacturability and industrialization
•    Demonstrate practical knowledge of product design, materials, and manufacturing technologies relevant to advanced vision systems.

 

Your Profile as Product Development Engineer:

•   Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or a related field

•    Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, preferably working on development of mechanical hardware for electronic products within automotive business

•    Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (Catia V5) and experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill)
•    Knowledge of 1). Manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, pressure die-casting, and metal stamping; 2). Electrical Connection Systems; 3). Packaging electronics, vision systems or optical sensors
•    Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

•    Nice to have: experience working with requirements management systems, familiarity with FEA and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS)

•    Good command of written and spoken English, including technical terminology
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and willingness to travel, strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective time management
