Product & Architecture Development Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Team:

For our international team we are looking for qualified and passionate engineers for team building the future of the automotive industry. Except Częstochowa, we are also open to hiring in Łódź.

This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

What you can look forward to as Product & Architecture Development Engineer:

• Product development for complex domain controllers (supercomputers) for vehicles,
• Support of requirements management and system/hardware design of the devices,
• Intensive and, in some cases, responsible coordination of interfaces (software, hardware, and mechanics),
• Development of innovative concepts for driver assistance systems, including automated driving functions,
• Creation of (sub)system architectures,
• Representation of central driver assistance control units in the context of overall requirements to the internal and external customer,
• Support and/or participation in problem, variant, and configuration management,
• Technical coordination with internal and external development partners, suppliers, and customers.

Your profile as Product & Architecture Development Engineer:

• Completed university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field with at least four years of professional experience in system or hardware design in the automotive environment,
• Good knowledge of common tools for describing architectures,
• Experience in the development of driver assistance systems and functional safety,
• Proficiency in creating and structuring product specifications and architecture,
• Experience with supplier management / customer interfaces,
• Good written and spoken English skills,
• High level of self-initiative, good communication skills and abstract thinking abilities, enjoyment of working independently as well as in a team.
