ZF Group Poland is looking for ambitious and inquisitive people for the teams dealing with electronics products. We are part of the ZF Group - leading manufacturer of automotive components and safety systems. We are looking for an R&D engineer to strengthen our Testing Team in the Corporate Materials Technology Department

 

Job description:

•    Investigation of parts and samples with X-ray diffraction for residual stress analysis and determination of retained austenite 
•    Investigation of parts, mainly electronic components with X-ray inspection for inner defects
•    Materialographic investigations from mechatronic parts, packaging components and printed circuit boards
•    Material and heat treatment control on parts from manufacturing, testing, and after sales service according to drawing and further specifications
•    Preparation of component samples by cutting and grinding
•    Evaluation of test results including conclusions and recommendations, preparation of reports and presentation of results

 

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in mech. Engineering or equivalent or technician with experience in materials technology and measurement technology
•    Experience in materials and materialographic investigation methods
•    Knowledge in packaging and failure analysis   
•    Knowledge in residual stress analysis or X-ray testing 
•    Confident handling of MS Office products
•    Confident appearance in contact with customers 
•    Fluent English knowledge mandatory, German language would be an advantage 
•    Ability to work in an international team, diligence and innovation, flexibility
