An IT Purchasing Analyst (or IT Procurement Analyst) is a strategic professional who manages the end-to-end acquisition of technology assets—including hardware, software, and cloud services. Unlike a general purchasing agent, this role requires specialized knowledge of the technology lifecycle, software licensing models, and IT vendor ecosystems to ensure cost-efficiency and operational alignment.

What you can look forward to as an IT Purchasing Analyst (f/m/d):

• Analyze internal spending patterns and external market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and inform budgetary forecasting.
• Evaluate, onboard, and maintain relationships with IT suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Responsible for Cost/Benefit Analysis including introduction of new technologies and system enhancements.
• Oversee the procurement process from initial request through delivery and eventual decommissioning, ensuring hardware and software inventories are accurately tracked.
• Partner with IT leadership to define technical specifications for bids (RFPs/RFQs) and align procurement strategies with the organization’s digital transformation goals. 

Your profile as an IT Purchasing Analyst (f/m/d):

• Bachelor's degree required.
• In depth business understanding - Automotive industry, Tier 1 and Teir 2 purchasing processes.
• 3+ professional experience as an IT Purchasing Analyst.
• SupplyOn knowledge required.
• Fluent in English.
