Joining the ZF Braking Team as the Hardware Integration Engineer for new products and products being in production you will be an integral part of an electronics cross ZF/ multinational team responsible for designing world leading solutions in braking systems. We are looking for candidates that can think “outside the box”, capable of analytical thinking with a risk analysis mind set and good communications skills.

Your Tasks:
• Integration of electronics schematics, development of ECU architecture
• Supervision of PCB layout creation and modification for automotive ECUs
• Interface to internal and external customers and supplier communication as well as creation of related documentation
• Update of parts lists / BOM’s for products in series production in ZF release system
• Technical evaluation of changes to electronic control units. Considering customer, functional and automotive standards, such as ISO 26262, AEC, ZVEI
• Coordination of ECU level validation and ensure of critical milestones
• Documentation and evaluation of the environmental, electrical and EMC tests

Your Profile:
• Master/ Bachelor degree in Electronic / Mechatronic
• Knowledge in life cycle and change management processes and tools
• Knowledge of project management is an advantage
• Knowledge of electronic components and modules especially in the automotive environment
• Experience with electronics development for serial production
• Good English communication skills and good interpersonal/ networking skills
• Knowledge of the German language is an advantage
