This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

What you can look forward to as a Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d):

• Design, development, and end-to-end ownership of full stack applications (frontend and backend).
• Apply AI-powered Spec-Driven Development (SDD) by creating precise, structured technical specifications that serve as guidelines and guardrails for AI coding agents.
• Design and evolution of microservices-based systems, including data models and databases.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications, including code reviews focused on quality and clarity.
• Collaborate in a global environment using structured documentation and written communication. 

Your profile as an Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong engineering ownership mindset with the ability to design systems using microservices architecture principlesStrong experience with AI-powered Spec-Driven Development (SDD) – ability to write precise, structured technical specifications that act as accurate guidelines and guardrails for AI coding agents.
• Strong experience in Python (FastAPI preferred) and familiarity with modern frontend technologies (React ecosystem preferred).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST/event-driven), and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), as well as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in writing technical documentation and specifications in Markdown.
