Expert Cost Engineering Investments

Your Tasks:

•  Coordinate and conduct worldwide projects for cost optimization of machines, assembly lines and special manufacturing equipment (SME) in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. manufacturing and assembly planning, non-production material purchasing, divisions and sales);
•  Identify measures for invest cost optimization by improving part and invest specifications (e.g. design for manufacturing); Support interface partners in measure implementation;
•  Independently analyze cost structures and negotiate them with suppliers and customers (e.g. in collaboration with non-production material purchasing);
•  Develop standards and methods for cost, price and CO2e emission analysis for machines, assembly lines and SME; Ramp-up a systematic knowledge management in collaboration with interface partners.

Your Profile:

•  Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or comparable education; Work experience ideally in planning, sourcing or cost analysis of machines, assembly lines and SME;
•  In-depth knowledge on cost structures for machinery and plant engineering is a plus;
•  Analytical skills; solution-oriented, diligent, and independent work ethic;
•  Ability to work in teams, good communication skills and assertiveness in  international environment incl. willingness to travel;
•  Fluent English language skills.
