About the Team: Join our dynamic Site Services Purchasing team! Consisting of 6 dedicated professionals within three regional groups, you will be an integral part of the Global Commodity Purchasing Non-Production Department. Embracing diversity, our department cultivates a collaborative environment where each team member's skills contribute to the success of ZF´s site services projects worldwide. 

You will be responsible to lead purchasing activities in the whole region for sourcing site services including: janitorial, machine cleaning, security, employee transportation and canteen services.  A typical day includes collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing service contracts.  

What you can look forward to as Commodity Buyer Site Services Europe (m/f/d):

• Commodity Buyer Site Services Europe - Regional interface responsibility for Site Services for Hub, Stakeholders and BU leads.  Buyer is driver of cost reduction projects on a commercial side, supporting cost reduction projects on a demand side, prioritization of cost reduction projects, sharing of best practice examples, cost avoidance projects.;  
• Leadership of projects from the commodity group (tenders, negotiations) (Negotiation strategies, target values, supplier management);
• Support of commodity Manager Level III (commodity specific characteristics of processes and templates, commodity specific reporting). Develop strategy for the Region/Hub.  Develop relationships with Hub Managers, Buyers, Stakeholders;
• General tasks & Support of Level 3 Management within Commodity (support for target setting, standard KPIs for the commodity). Develop/maintain Supplier (ASL) list and providing data to Level 3,2, management reports (data delivered by controlling), interface to controlling, support and governance and within the commodity; 
• Negotiation strategies, Strategic Fields of Action, Market Intelligence, Benchmarking, Challenge BU to optimize demand, Supplier management.

Your Profile as Commodity Buyer Site Services Europe (m/f/d):

• Broad knowledge of purchasing principals, experience with purchasing negotiations and working knowledge of specialized methods and techniques;
• 5–8 years of experience in purchasing, production, or manufacturing experience (mainly handling of indirect materials);
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance (or equivalent)
• Computer/Software/Manufacturing System knowledge of QAD, SAP.  Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required;
• Experience and ability to function in a cross-functional team environment’
• Good oral & written communication skills, organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize and work independently;
• Creativity is welcomed and expected in a fast-paced environment;
• Analytical ability to work on complex problems and use independent judgment;
• Interpersonal and experienced negotiation skills;
• Ability to travel as needed (not often).
