We are looking for a new colleague in the Quality department at our location in Coimbatore, India.

 Your Tasks:

5. Responsible for ensuring Quality goals & enhancing product performances
6. Handling Castings & Gear CMM, Measuring instruments, new project quality assurance & quality control
7. Handling a quality team ensuring the inspection standards are adhered
8. Coordinating with Production, Design, Maintenance and other functions for Problem solving driving CAPA
9. Ensuring the Compliance of ISO & other Quality standards
10. Using quality tools driving continuous improvement projects
11. Updating the non-compliances  in SAP by raising notifications (F4,Q2,F3)
12. CTQ monitoring & updating the results to Cross functional team
13. Ensuring & Adhering to Change management process with proper communication for an effective implementation in quality along with updated documents
14. Handling nonconformances with a clear disposition & quick decision making
15. Ensuring Quality costs & work towards optimizing the cost
16. Supporting New Product Development team in APQP,PPAP documentations
17. Ensuring Customer interface study, risk involved with lesson learnt summary during initial product development stage
18. Understanding the deviations, coordinating with Front Line Support team in handling deviations effectively with clear communication
19. Understanding the field failure cases, collecting data accordingly for a CAPA
20. Using 8D to the fullest in addressing customer grievances
21. Workplace Safety study using SRS & SIS focusing on Prevention
22. Coordinating for internal,external, Third party audits and ensuring audit completeness with Corrective actions & Closure of audit points
23. Handling special process such as NDT,Heat Treatment ,Vibration monitoring & analysis

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 10 +years of experience
• Working  experience or certified in SAP & MES
• Hands on Experience in Microsoft Power BI - Report making. Ability to fetch the data from different sources (Excel, SAP, CSV, etc) and make Interactive dashboard for decision making.
• Hands on Experience in Minitab Statistical software. Able to make Process Capability Report using Minitab.
• Excellent analytical, Communication & interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Certification(s) in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
• Hands on Experience in Vibration Analysis (CAT II Certification is a plus)
• Process & Product knowledge of Gear Box Assembly, Testing & End assembly.
• Knowledge of Measuring Instruments & Equipment’s.
• Knowledge of FARO portable CMM, Endoscope machines.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015,ISO 45001,OHSAS 18001 (WI, HIRA, SRS, SIS, EMP etc.,)
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
