At the Ciénega de Flores plant, which specializes in the manufacturing of brake pads, we offer the opportunity to be part of a strategic operation focused on automotive safety and continuous improvement.

We are hiring an Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering Intern, Mechatronics or a related field

What can you expect as an Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field

•   Monitor and provide timely updates to plant production schedules across all operational areas.
•   Ensure compliance with the guidelines established in technical instructions and other documents assigned to the different production areas.
• Ensure the proper completion of all pre-use machinery and equipment inspection checklists throughout the plant.
•   Report any abnormalities or defects identified in the product to Quality or Laboratory personnel so that the necessary corrective actions can be taken.
• Oversee compliance with the specifications established in the Control Plan through the assigned shift personnel.
• Ensure compliance with the guidelines established in technical instructions and other documents assigned to the different operational areas.
•  Maintain communication with Shift Supervisors to understand operational needs, contingencies, and any events occurring within their respective areas. Continuously promote teamwork to achieve the goals and objectives established by Operations Management, while also fostering the professional development of personnel under supervision.

Your profile as an Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office

• High interest in productive performance measurement (OEE, KPIs), manufacturing automation, and digital transformation.

Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA) required. Experience applying quality methodologies to support production, process improvement, and customer requirements compliance.
