About the Team
Ensure, coordinate, and maintain an appropriate organizational structure, as well as the necessary infrastructure, human, and material resources to carry out the activities required to achieve optimal performance by both the Company’s operational and administrative personnel. Additionally, ensure that the business maintains an appropriate level of profitability in accordance with the objectives and guidelines established by ZF Corporate Management.
What can you look forward to as Plant Manager:
- Define the organizational structure through the Company’s general organizational chart / Establish the Company’s Quality Objectives and KPIs, as well as maintain and communicate them throughout the organization, with the support of the Process Owners.
- Monitor the annual, monthly, and weekly operational objectives of the Company / Define the personnel, machinery, and infrastructure requirements necessary for the business.
- Analyze and resolve daily issues related to the production process, working jointly with the Process Owners, including Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Technical Office, Safety, Commercial Management, and other relevant functions.
- Prepare monthly closing reports, as well as other reports related to business profitability.
- Support the identification of competency development needs, human resources requirements, and plant investment needs / Ensure that personnel maintain and update the Oracle system as the basis for plant operations.
- Conduct plant capacity analysis when requested by a customer and/or ZF Corporate Management / Oversee the overall performance of the operation.
- Report on plant performance to ZF Corporate Management, as required.
- Verify compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations,
Your Profile as Plant Manager:
- Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or product engineering.
- Prior experience managing manufacturing operations in a high-volume environment preferred. Experience supporting PFMEA and control plans.
- Prior experience interfacing with customers across multiple levels and disciplines preferred.
- Strong project management skills / Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt trained with practical experience.
- English language.
