Senior Buyer - Program Purchasing

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in Purchasing Team at our location in Chonburi.

What you can look forward to as Program Purchasing Senior Buyer:

• Lead program purchasing activities throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring on-time project delivery and launch readiness.
• Manage supplier capacity, performance, and risks, including capacity validation, supplier reviews, site visits, and early identification of project hazards.
• Coordinate sourcing and procurement strategy, maintaining advanced sourcing pipelines and supporting supplier selection for new products globally.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, SDE, Commodity Teams, Program Management, and NPI teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor engineering changes, BOM releases, and product lifecycle management, ensuring timely communication, planning, and execution.
• Manage APQP/PPAP activities and supplier quality requirements, ensuring components meet automotive, manufacturing, and customer standards.
• Control product cost performance, including target costing, cost reduction initiatives, tooling costs, amortization, scrap liability, and business case validation.
• Provide project reporting and stakeholder communication, delivering regular status updates to management, executive leadership, and project teams.
• Support commercial and customer requirements, including pricing, forecast management, inflation recovery, engineering change approvals, and cost recovery activities.
• Resolve operational and supply chain challenges, including supplier exits, resourcing plans, payable issues, and demand-capacity alignment.

Your Profile as Program Purchasing Senior Buyer:

• Degree in Engineering/ Technology or Business Commercial subject.
• Minimum 3years in 1st tier automotive business candidate to be considered
• Good in the English language especially spoken communication.
• Typical 5-8 years in a purchasing role.
• Working in and preferable leading multi-functional project teams.
