About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague in our quality team at our location in Chonburi, Thailand
What you can look forward to as a Quality Manager:
- Overall manage for Quality Management Systems implementation and Quality Process Development to meet or exceed customers, corporate, internal requirements and another related requirement.
- Provides input on setting objectives and targets to meet with the business plan, customer’s requirements and other stakeholders and ensure that processes and products meet the company target.
- Development and implement proactive initiatives, which facilitate the development and maintenance of customer-focused culture.
- Address customer issues in a timely manner to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Serve as key interface with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate on best practices in quality management systems.
- Customer representative for special characteristic, quality objective, CAR/PAR, customer score card and customer portals.
- Establish, maintain and implement communications to increase awareness and improvement of quality issues in place.
- Participate in the development of the Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan.
- Act as Quality Management Representative for ZF Automotive Safety Systems (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
- Ensure all supplier performance meet quality target.
- Participate and promote continuous improvement activities, Health and Safety awareness, and adherence to Quality Systems.
- Ensure that competency and development plan are in place for Quality team.
- Ensure that Quality awareness as well as apply IATF 16949:2016 to the area of work.
- Ensures that HSEMS requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordancewith the HSEM Program and the ISO 14001 standard.
- Coordinates health, safety and environmental compliance and management systems audits.
- Accesses legal & other requirements and maintains a list of applicable requirements.
- Performs other duties as described in Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems Procedures.Maintain 5S activities in Quality Department.
- Perform any other duties directed by the Plant General Manager.
Your Profile as a Quality Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering field.
- At least 10 years’ experiences in the Quality Management in automotive industry and with minimum 5 years in management level.
- Strong background in Internal & External audit related with quality system including customer visit and quality system audit.
- Strong quality and problem-solving background preferred. Ability to influence decisions and compel action in a complex environment.
- Knowledgeable in quality standards IATF 16949:2016 and strong knowledge and experience in advanced quality planning activities and using various quality tools
- Experience in improving process capabilities, Mistake Proof (Poke Yoke) devices especially with suppliers (local and overseas).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player, with good written and oral communication skills in English.
