Lean Promotion Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in production team at our location in Chonburi, Thailand.

What you can look forward to as Lean Promotion Engineer:

• Promote and communicate lean activities throughout the plant.

• Plan, organize & arrange staffing of workshops throughout the plant.

• Drive improvements in measures of performance through the teams, not limited to Production, Logistics and Smart Factory

• Support program launch process.

• Provide daily production support.

• Develop and implement OJT programs, audit 5S activities.

• Responsible for ergonomic.

• Understand, teach and promote the use of all tools described in the Operations Excellence Tool box. Such as: Process Mapping, Throughput Time and Value Added operations, Constraint Management, Waste identification and reduction, Standard Operations, Inventory Pull Systems, 5S and Visual Factory, Process Design, VSA, VSD, OMA.

• Follow company HSE rules and report unsafe hazards or issues to HSE in time.

• Responsible for department employees’ safety and ensure HSE rules be followed.

• Ensure BBS and related HSE programs be implemented in department.

• Support production and HSE to achieve company production and HSE KPIs.

• Others tasked assigned by the head of ZF PS.

Your Profile as Lean Promotion Engineer:

• At least Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering

• 5+ years in Lean / Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence

• Manufacturing environment

• Lean Knowledge and Experience (VSA / VSD, 5S & Visual Factory, Continuous Improvement, SMED, Line Balance, 7MUDA etc.)

• Good English communication

• Automotive experience is not necessary, but experience in manufacturing is must.
