Launch Management- Project Leader

We are looking for a Lauch Mangament - Project Leader for location in Chihuahua. 

Job description:

The Launch Engineer position is responsible for managing and coordinate the implementation of the new programs. He is the main contact between the plant and development sites. (Michigan, Germany Spain, others).

He is responsible to ensure that new products’ introduction to all plant processes are met with the planned levels of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Main requirements

• Professional degree , Engineering in Mechanical / Electronics is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience on Launching area.
• English language fluent
• Microsoft Office advance level, mainly Excel & Powerpoint

Essential Duties:

• Manage without the need for significant direction, projects within the business unit in accordance with ZF's new product introduction management process requirements (GDPEP).
• Manage all aspects of a project over the phases of the launch and after SOP + 90days.
• Support internal and external set meetings with the launch team.
• Interface with all areas involved in the project, PM, Quality, ME, Engineering, Operations, Others.
• Ensure all required components for the early stages of the project (line kick off and debugs).
• Monitor and report status of the project weekly and monthly as required by our internal procedures.
• Ensure pre-series builds in launch phase.
• Ensure production readiness for pre-series and SOP according to the project planning.
• Support VAVEs or special projects.
• Gate Reviews & Global Status Review attendance is required.
• Responsible for engineering changes coordination as required by the program.
• Launch Position requires to have different reports on time and actions if requested.
• Support and coordinate customer visits/audits.
