ZF is looking for a Mechanical Process Engineer for our plant in Chihuahua.

JOB SUMMARY

Mechanical Process Engineer will be responsible to manage quotations of new products and engineering changes, equipment expenses. Maintain goals of profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products throughout their life cycle.

Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Chemical Engineer or any other career with strong analytical ability required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Participate during the process of new projects, engineering changes or improvements needed.

•Responsible to update and maintain plastic extrusion equipment KPI’s.

•Keep projects on time and financially healthy, according to the milestones, with constant communication with corporate team.

•Responsible to optimize plastic extrusion process and plastic punching process.

•Responsible to handle operations activities, related to production, engineering changes and quality of the process.

•May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

•Understanding of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.)

•Able to develop process improvements using design of experiments.

•Knowledge on mechanical stamping/punching process.

•Knowledge on plastics, extrusion process.

•Strong communication skills in Spanish and English

•Self managed and Self motivated to achieve results.
