Engineer II - Multi

ZF is looking for a Engineer II-Multi for our location in Chihuahua.

Job Description:

• Support of all global R&D teams in realization of standardizing and automatization
• Coordination of all operative tasks in configuration management
• Continuous improvement of the global configuration management strategy
• Transfer and implementation of proved methods into configuration management, system engineering, problem- and
  change management  
• Training and coaching of the project teams in relevant processes, methods and CM systems
• Professional application of existing CM systems (ALM – PTC Integrity, PLM – Windchill und ERP – SAP)
• Identification and definition of internal and external configuration management items
• Definition, generation and continuous improvement of configuration management plans
• Creation of regular reporting, conduction of CM audits, reviews and assessments
• Assuring records of configurations relations and it’s variants + provision of information about the status
• Provision and continuous improvement of monitoring- & reporting-systems on CM system level to track and
  monitor progress in the projects
• Quality assurance of the mentioned processes and with these the related configurations, in particular under consideration of valid standards like ISO 9001, IATF 16949 etc. and maturity models like Automotive SPICE

Skills / Knowledge:

• 2+ years experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Informatic, etc.)
• Proven experience in the area of configuration management plus knowledge in IATF 16949, ISO 10007 and maturity models like Automotive SPICE is favorable
• Experience with processes, methods and CM systems
• Knowledge in software-, electronic- and system development is favorable
• Basic knowledge in project management, project coordination and variant management is favorable
• Collaboration with international and cross functional engineering teams is well practiced
• Analytical mindset/thinking, well structured and organized working behavior
• High level of resilience, ability for teamwork, as well high level of accountability and assertiveness
• Proven language skills in English; verbal and written
