Job Description

What you can look forward to as Senior Engineer PLM/Java Developer: 

• ZF is maintaining a Windchill PDMLink system which had been implemented in 2006 and is currently running on Windchill 12. It supports the global engineering development, change and purchasing processes and is being used by app. 10.000 users on all continents. The PLM System is supported by a global team of Developers, Hotline and Business Analysts who interact closely which each other.
• The PLM system has been customized by a variety of external and internal resource over the last years and is under active development to meet functional business requirements.
• However, such a complex system also requires constant software maintenance to ensure flawless execution, performance and business agility.
• We are therefore looking for a candidate who will augment the existing team with a mindset for the following tasks:
• Clean Code: Analyze the existing codebase for flaws, propose and implement improvements
• Testing: As any code change or improvement induces the risk of regressions, testing is therefore an integral part of the task

Your profile as Senior Engineer PLM/Java Developer:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems with 4+ years of experience in PLM Windchill
• Strong software engineering mindset .  Capability to communicate with and guide other developers
• QA experience (JUnit, Silk test,)
