Product Engineering – Quality Assurance, India Region/ ZF CVS

LOCATION:

ZF CVS – TCI, Chennai or Bangalore

Your Tasks:

• Define and implement Engineering Quality Assurance Plan for projects assigned
• Ensure the overall quality of the project and processes as defined in the Project Handbook and Engineering Quality Assurance Plan (by conducting Gate Reviews, Risk Assessment, Work Product Analysis, Audits/ Assessments, and Product Releases)
• Guide project teams in understanding, defining and adhering to the process established
• Analyze and tailor project specific process requirements
• Monitor the integrated suppliers for development content (progress, process and product quality) in applicable projects
• Escalate internal and external stakeholder issues to management
• Track to closure of gaps identified in reviews, audits and assessments
• Ensure transfer of knowledge and best practices across teams and projects
• Definition, capture and analysis of metrics pertaining to Project / Product
• Execute/ Support continuous improvement process initiatives

  Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s’/Master’s Degree in Engineering
• 8-12 years of experience in Automotive industry
• Min 5 years of experience in quality assurance activities for EHW/SW based systems in the automotive industry

• Proficient in SDLC, Quality Assurance methodologies, Metric Analysis and Problem-solving methods like 8D, RCA, FTA etc.
• Excellent knowledge in Product Engineering process, ASPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262 and AGILE methodologies. Automotive SPICE assessor certification is preferred
• Good understanding of Project management and Supplier quality management
• Good Knowledge and experience working with tools like PTC Integrity/ DOORS and Configuration Management tools
