About Team:

Design & develop manufacturing processes for assembly of air & air assisted braking system components. To develop and establish standards in the areas of assembly engineering. This person will be positioned in Central ME.

Your Tasks:

1.  Establish and maintain time standards for machining, assembly, and testing processes through systematic work measurement techniques.
2.  Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and eliminate waste, ensuring continuous improvement in productivity.
3. Design, revise, and control floor layouts across all sites, utilizing virtual simulation to optimize material flow and eliminate bottlenecks.
4. Determine standard manpower requirements based on demand and establish ergonomic and material handling guidelines for in-house processes.
5.  Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to established time standards and drive improvements in shop floor operations.

Your Profile:

•  BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. A postgraduate degree in these fields is a plus.
•  Minimum 5 years in industrial or production engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in work study, time measurement, and standard establishment.
•  Expertise in methods analysis, work measurement, layout planning, and process optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•  This role is part of the Central ME team and reports to the MSE-Section Leader.
