About The Team:

ZF Group, CVS R&D, Regional Prototypes development team interacts with internal customers (regional & global) to support for prototype parts development with external supplier partners as per their design requirements.

Your Tasks:

• Support R&D in the development of prototype parts for new product developments.
• Ensure alignment and coordination between A,B and Design Improvement or experiments prototypes development.
• Manage prototype resources according to the Business Unit's (BU) Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Ensure on-time delivery of prototypes and strive for defect-free prototypes.
• Reduce prototype development costs through effective management and supplier development.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in prototype development within the automotive industry.
• Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics/Production Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in developing prototype parts with suppliers.
• Proficiency in developing parts for various commodities such as Rapid Prototyping, Casting, Forging, Machining, Sheet Metal, Rubber, Plastics, Standard Parts, and Electromechanical Components.
• Strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with basic measuring instruments, emerging prototype technologies, supplier management, costing, SAP, and good negotiation skills. Good academic background and excellent communication skills.
