Connected Services Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, project leads and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design cloud-based involving AI/ML solutions.
• Identify and propose end-to-end connectivity solutions with inputs from project leads on customer problems.
• Implement and optimize machine learning models and algorithms for leading technology areas like predictive maintenance.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain solutions using leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, AI, and data science, and evaluate their potential impact on business objectives.
• Work together with the global ZF innovation team to support each phase of innovation project - development, user validation process and propose solutions (products and/or services) that might lie between organizational borders. While doing, co-ordinate and execute PoC (Proof of Concept) activities for collaboration between departments and start-ups/scale-ups.

Requirements / Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-15 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure).
• Broad understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis concepts and techniques.
• Strong programming skills with sound understanding for software engineering principles. Preferable languages include Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Experience in working with Edge / Cloud connectivity architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent team player and good communications skills. Able to collaborate with multiple experts and build system together.
