Key Responsibilities

• Provide end to end business service support to the materials management organization
• Understand the requirement as per the standard guidelines to achieve the targets / SLAs such as Quality, Turn Around Time (TAT) and Productivity
• Collect relevant information through the mapping of different business processes and workshops
• Conduct a thorough data analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyzing current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
• Communicate within the MM Organisation and stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes.
• Understand and analyse process performance using process discovery tools (process mining)
• Identify Non-Value add steps and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operation
• Utilize statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning to analyze large datasets related to procurement processes, and supplier performance.
• Develop data-driven recommendations for cost reduction, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.
• Design and build interactive dashboards.
• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to stakeholders across Materials Management.
• Collaborate with business users, procurement managers, and supply chain teams to understand data requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable reports, visualizations, applications, and data-driven insights.
• Provide ongoing support for existing dashboards, troubleshoot issues, and enhance functionality.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains through data analytics solutions

Experience/Skills

• 2-6 years over all experience
• Any Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Data Science/ Data Analytics /Statistics from a reputed university/College
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within supply chain, materials management, or procurement.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R/DAX for data manipulation and analysis
• Solid experience with Power BI and MS Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) as well as MS Azure.
• Strong analytical skills, including data visualization and storytelling
• Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and procurement desirable.
• Lean expertise and Six Sigma will be an asset
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
