Project Controller / CAPEX Controller (Finance)

Job Description

Investment controlling:

• a) Collaboration with Regional capex controller to lead the Capex OP activities and align the Division direction and guidelines on Capex OP
• b) Track of OP vs Actuals and monitor to control the capex spend to ensure within Budget
• c) Investment ROI Business case vs Actual realization (TBD)
• d) PLI input to Tax team coordinated with FA controller to confirm capitalized assets
• e) Inputs on capex spend for strategic projects.
• f) Assessment of new investment/sales projects and provide recommendation for approval to Leaders. (Invest Application-Power apps)

Project Controlling:

• a) Validation of RFQ submitted by project team and give clearance meeting Project thresholds(MROCE/Payback/GMP) and clearance based on deviation approvals
• b) Recommendation for approval to Leaders for the RFQ application submitted in system(PEAR Tool)
• c) Approval the gate in C place to be established for Cat 2 and Cat 3 projects(Process under construction-expected launch date 2025)
• d) Collaborate and represent as SPOC for Finance team to Product line PJMs.
• R&D controlling:
• a) Review of OP with R&D team and propose for OP load to HFM as per FP&A team requirements.
• b) Track of Actuals vs OP
• c) Review the hourly rate on yearly basis for recharge to Global
• d) Collaborate with team and represent as SPOC for Finance for HDC R&D team.

Qualification:

• CA/CMA Qualified with 3+ years’ of experience in controlling
• Professional experience in project controlling, experience in the automotive environment is an advantage
• Good communication skills towards all levels of organization
• Team player being able to cooperate with different functions and departments across various product lines
