Hardware Safety Engineer

Your tasks:

  • Takeover of ECU safety planning and monitoring activities in projects
  • Transforms safety goals into technical safety requirements for a device down to technical safety requirements.
  • Conducts ECU safety analysis (FTA, FMEDA, DFA) and creation of their reports.
  • Supporting in Fault Injection Tests specifications and test result evaluation.
  • Creates the safety case report including the safety analysis results.

Your profile:

    • Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent education
    • First experience in relevant embedded electronic engineering practices within the automotive, aviation or medical industry is preferred.
    • Experience / knowledge of safety related engineering processes and analysis methods (e.g. FTA, FMEDA, FMEA, DFA), especially on ISO26262 is an asset.
    • Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and assertiveness
    • Fluent in English written and spoken.
