About the team:
Finance, Accounting and Controlling.

What you can look forward to as GL Controller:

• Preparation of financial statements (standalone and consolidated) for the entity - BS, P&L, cash flow statement & other notes to accounts/ disclosures
• Responsible for smooth completion of statutory audit/ limited reviews - coordination with auditors, be spoc between auditors and various functions in finance, collate required data for annual report preparation/ CARO related matters
• Actively monitor related party transactions, and ensure audit committee approval is available upfront for all transactions - and drive till preparing RPT schedule for financial statements
• Responsible for monthly book closure activities - reviewing provision entries, ICO cost reconciliations, royalty computations, extract trial balance and loading results in SAP tool for group consolidation
• Review of trial balance, conduct variance analysis of P&L, BS on monthly basis, including ensuring sanity of GL balances and grouping of the same
• Preparing P&L based on management metrices out of loaded results and provide support to FP&A team for analysis

Your Profile as GL Controller:

• CA with 2-4 years of experience in Statutory audits, book closure, financial statement preparations
• Expertise with Financial Reporting and India compliance requirements
• Ability to layout clear plans for process standardization & automation and implement the same
• Strong knowledge of management reporting and financial accounting
• Responsible for GL creation, maintenance and overall in charge of chart of account to ensure proper GLs are maintained for each classification of expense.
• Responsible for accounting as per prescribed GAAP - Ind AS for the listed entity & its subsidiary, and IFRS for the group books of accounts.
