About the team:
We strengthen our engineering project management team in the area of Trailer Solutions at our site in Chennai.

 

What you can look forward to as Deputy Manager Project Management (m/f/d):

  • As project manager your take responsibility for the interface between project management and product development
  • Ensure planning and execution of all development task according ZF engineering process as well within agreed timeframe, quality and costs.
  • Management of development projects throughout all project phases and planning and conducting the gate reviews
  • Problem- and risk management during project execution and technical alignment with all internal and external clients
  • Engineering resource planning and budget estimation
  • Project controlling of development budgets and report out to the stakeholders and management within local and international structures
  • Management of local market requirements and alignment with global strategies
  • Support of global and local cost reduction and change projects.

 

Your profile as Deputy Manager Project Management (m/f/d):

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering combined with profound business-management understanding
  • At least eight years of experience in product development, best case within automotive industry
  • Experience in project management, knowledge in risk and change management and/or FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) beneficial 
  • Good technical comprehension (mechanics, pneumatics, automation, electrical), communication skills, team player, structured and independent work approach
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and verbal communication)
  • Eager to be responsible for the technical side of a project and its engineering team from the conception of the product to its implementation
