Deputy General Manager - Manufacturing Engineer

Role is responsible for a team responsible for planning, design and implementation of manufacturing processes meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. This role will also be responsible for identification and upgradation of manufacturing process technologies including digitalisation.

Your Tasks: -

Anticipate demand vs capacity quarterly and initiate actions to mitigate capacity
shortfall deviations
Commit & provide optimized Capex solutions for the new projects to lower the
conversion costs, Ensure the right timing, resources and the knowledge transfer for flawless launches and transfers
Ensure asset utilization are maximized, Drive Digitalisation initiatives. Establish new process technologies.
On-time PPAP completion for new/transfer/capacity-up projects meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery targets, On-time ramp-up for new/transfer/capacity-up projects meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery targets
Line wise capacity analysis and proactive implementation of actions
Capex cost control, Asset utilization tracker and action plans for improvement. Conversion Cost Productivity

Your Profile:

B.E with 15 to 20 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Should have strong experience in Machine Selection, NPD, Quality
Should have experience on handling 5+ team members
Should be from Automotive Tier 1 background
Asset utilization tracker and action plans for improvement. Conversion Cost Productivity
