What you can look forward to as Assistant Manager - Buyer (m/f/d):

• Strategic sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Material Planning, Inventory management & Control, SAP.
• Prepare and release monthly and weekly import/domestic dispatch plans to suppliers.
• Issue purchase order (PO) schedules on time to ensure smooth supply flow within defined lead times.
• Perform daily/weekly on hand stock checks and prepare critical material lists.
• Manage and control inventory for parts within target levels and safety stock policies.
• Monitor actual shipment status with freight forwarders to prevent line shortages and manage inventory.
• Plan and control shipments to avoid premium freight costs (e.g., air shipments).

Your profile as Assistant Manager - Buyer (m/f/d):

• B.Tech (Mech) with min. 6-8 years of experience/ Diploma (Mech) with min. 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of import logistics, customs clearance, and CHA coordination.
• Proficient in material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Ability to manage multi country suppliers and large part portfolios.
• Analytical skills for forecasting, BOM validation, and capacity planning.
