Manage customer relationship and interface for all quality related topics
Responsible for process audits and driving zero defect mindset
Responsible for developing overall quality processes in plant
Lead the TS certification process of plant
Manage Quality Management Systems, certifications and audits
Manage the PPAP and Record of Conformance process
Manage the customer complaint and nonconforming material processes
Respond to customer initiated NCMR's and SCAR's and ensure timely and accurate feedback
Ensure all Customer Specific Requirements are met
Provide quality system orientation training to new hires
Manage the process and product audit function
Manage the process for quality audits scheduled by customers
Initiate corrective action request for customer complaints, nonconforming material returns and warranty claims
Follow-up for PPM and Incident Rate targets
Timely delivery of required reporting of KPI’s

MINIUMUM KNOWLEDGE AND BACKGROUND REQUIRMENTS
Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred
3-5 years minimum experience in quality function working in Automotive industry or other fast paced manufacturing plant preferred
Experience as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier or working with a vehicle manufacturer preferred
Experience in leading TS certification preferred
ISO 9001 / TS 16949 experience preferred
Experience with PPAP and APQP preferred
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) concepts and applications preferred
Knowledge of FMEA, control plans, R&R studies, fail safe systems preferred
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Software preferred
Ability to work in teams and multi-tasking capabilities preferred
