Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the team:

The production team is dedicated to fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment that aligns with company objectives and promotes continuous improvement. By ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO-14001 standards, the team drives production performance through waste reduction, employee training, and development. They prioritize open communication, adherence to work procedures, and proactive management of performance, ensuring an issue-free and productive workplace. The Production Supervisor will lead and supervise production personnel utilizing procedures and work instructions to meet or exceed customer and company requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

What you can expect as a Production Supervisor:

  • Ensure safe and issue free work environment.
  • Create a positive, results-oriented work environment to meet company objectives.
  • Maintain and improve production performance processes through waste reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Understand and ensure compliance of IATF 16949, ISO-14001 requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee employee time keeping system, corrective counseling, performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Track, train, coach, and develop production employees.
  • Ensure adherence to work procedures, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain open door communication and promote an issue free environment.

Your profile as a Production Supervisor:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office experience 
  • Ability to use and train individuals to use production/manufacturing equipment
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations management and lean principles, processes, and techniques
  • Availability and flexibility of schedule (e.g. weekends) to meet customer requirements
